‘2020년 양성평등 추진 우수대학’ 선정
JNU picked for gender equity program in 2020

Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) has been selected for its program excellence in the area of gender equity in 2020 by the Ministry of Education earlier today.

A total of 38 national universities were evaluated on their respective programs in gender equity based on the performance records during 2019.

The evaluation panel specifically recognized JNU’s program in faculty and staff appointments and women faculty/staff members’ committee assignments.

The university maintained a 30% average of women faculty/staff hiring during recent three years. This year (2020) posted 32.5% average.
