Predoctoral fellow Kim JH wins research award

Predoctoral Fellow Kim Jong Hwa of Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) Wind Energy Program (Kim Beom Seok, Supervisory Faculty) came away with a superior research presentation award from the 2020 Korean Wind Energy Society annual meeting held in Maison Glad Hotel, Jeju, last Tuesday (December 1, 2010).

His award-winning was entitled “Classification of damage categories observed with wind turbine blade assemblies.”

The research findings are regarded useful for establishing maintenance and repair schedules for the wind power turbines.

The wind energy society was established in 2000 to promote wind energy research and technical information exchange.
