이영돈 교수, (사)제주학회 신임 회장 선출
Prof. Lee Young Don elected to head Jeju Studies Society

Professor Lee Young Don of Jeju National University Oceanographic Research Institute was elected as President of Jeju Studies Society.

Previously, he served as executive officers in several professional societies including the presidency for Korean Society for Developmental Biology.

Professor Lee received a grand prize in agricultural, forestry, fisheries and food technology and a Ministerial Award from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Food. His research revolving around the fish farming of Jeju fish varieties is widely known.

His presidential term begins on January 1, 2021 for two years.
