Region-specific trade experts training project granted to JNU

Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) has announced yesterday (December 15, 2020) that the JNU College of Economics and Commerce Department of Trade won a Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy grant (500 million krw) for the 2021 “Region-Specific Youth Trade Experts Training Project (GTEP) for 3 years (2021~2023).

The grant enables the JNU GTEP project team (Huh Yoon Seok, Director) to carry out Jeju-specific trade experts training of JNU students. The JNU project aims its training program specifically focused to the Southeast Asia zone.

Director Huh said that “training of tailormade trade personnel entails knowledge of regional language, customs, legal constraints and trade practice.”
