‘농업계 대학 실습장 지원 사업’ 선정
JNU gets support for agricultural extension program

The Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) Future Professional Agricultural Manager Education Project (Kim Dong Soon, Director) has earned a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Food and the Agency of Education, Promotion and Informaion Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for the 2021 agricultural extension project, it was announced last Monday (December 28, 2020).

The project grant provides support agricultural schools for their practical education program, procuring the cutting-edge facilities for laboratory and smart farming equipment.

The grant enables the university to develop the smart farm program education through cutting-edge ICT technology, strawberry and special crop cultivation laboratory, and start-up farm management and club activities.

Director Kim stated that the comprehensive farm extension facilities enabled the project to instruct the students to be able to effectively learn the smart farm and its application technology.
