Prof. Hyun JW elected to head Radiation Life Science Society

Korea Radiation Life Science Society has elected Professor Hyun Jin Won (Jeju National University School of Medicine Jeju Natural Product Drug Research Center) as its 12th Society president last week (December 1, 2020).

The society is dedicated to the science of radiation as applied to biomedical science and to the study of biological effects.

Professor Hyun has been active in the area of research revolving around the radiation damage and its mechanism of action. She has been prominent in serving several related scientific societies; she is currently Vice Chair of the Korean Pharmaceutical Society R&D Committee.
