정용석 교수, 상위 1% 국제학술지에 논문 게재
Prof. Chung YS has his latest paper in prestigious journal

Professor Chung Yong Seok of the Jeju National University College of Life and Natural Resource Sciences, along with his research collaborators from Kyungpook and Chungnam National Universities, has published his paper in the journal “Global Change Biology Bioenergy,” a top 1% ranking journal indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) as a communicating author.

The paper reports ethanol production from the kenaf plant, an alternative raw material for alcohol fermentation to food crops corn and sugar cane.

The research was carried out with grant support from the National Research Foundation of Korea (grant awarded to Prof. Lee Hyo-Yeon, Subtropical Horticulture Research Institute).
