LINC+사업단, ‘재능기부 교육봉사’로 지역사회 공헌
LINC+Project contributes “talent-offering education service” to community

Jeju National University LINC+Project (Kang Cheol Woong, Director) has been active in providing talent-based volunteer education service for the local community during December 11 through 30, 2020.

The program was prepared to “donate” college students’ learned knowledge and experiences to the elementary school youths under the COVID-19 stress during the winter break.

As a quarantine measure against the COVID-19 spread, both untact and ontact policies were strictly adhered to for implementing the program.

For the community service activities, Ko Hoon (Senior, Mechatronics Engineering) and 19 fellow students and Professors Kang Cheol Woong, Lee Sang Joon, and Jwa Jung Woo and industrial partners have participated.

51 elementary school youths had enrolled in the program.

Director Kang said that the program served as an educational model for resolving the regional educational differences through training of future leaders responding to the 4th industrial revolutionary era.
