Jeju National University (Song Seok-Eon, President) announced yesterday (January 12, 2021) that 4,255 applicants filed for freshmen classes with 1,113 available slots, recording a 3.82:1 competition ratio, which represents the second highest among the 9 national universities.

The department of pre-veterinary medicine posted the highest competition ratio, 31.8:1, 762 applicants vying for 24 available slots.

The department of pre-medicine recorded the second highest ratio, 14.6:1, with 291 applying for 20 available slots.
