Future agricultural education project picked for excellence

Jeju National University Future Expert Agricultural Management Training Project (Professor Kim Dong Soon, Director) earned a grade of “S” (superior) for its project development from the governmental sponsors the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which conducted the 2020 evaluations of the project performances.

The JNU project has been implementing the agricultural management specialist training program for the past 15 years supported by the governmental grants.

The project had attained an S grade in 2018 and A grade in 2019.

The future agricultural management education project carried out start-up club activities and education through the use of JNU smart farm start-up incubating education program during 2019 under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

The JNU project was also collaborated with Nong Hyup Corporation Jeju Branch in cultivating the future personnel training program.

Professor Kim commented that the JNU Project was strengthened by having incorporated such specialized education programs as HACCP, GAP, and ISO management administration and leadership education in preparation for the 4th industrial revolutionary era.
