Intellectual properties education course completed

Jeju National University Intellectual Properties Education Lead University Project (Kim In Joong, Director) observed the 2020 4th industrial revolution-responsive intellectual properties expert cultivation program in the JNU college of life and natural resource sciences last Wednesday (February 3, 2021). Professors Kim Hee Pil of the Department of Elementary Education and Kim Beom Yong of the intellectual properties education center participated in the completion ceremony.

The education program focuses on training intellectual properties professionals in preparation for the 4th industrial revolution through education in basic theories and practical laboratories and to work with Jeju intellectual properties attorneys, and for providing relevant jobs and start-up opportunities. The course program has been implemented with a comprehensive coverage of IP subjects under the support of JNU Community Tailormade Industry and Academy Cooperative Lead University Project (LINC+) by providing 48 hours/12 weeks of specialized lectures since last September.

The IP center presented certificates of completion to five students who successfully participated in the twelve weeks education program that included visits to IP relevant organizations and industrial corporations in Jeju and Seoul.
