BK21 energy project team holds OPEN LAB day
Jeju National University BK (Brain Korea) 21 Jeju energy new industrial experts education project (Kim Sang Jae, Director) scheduled an OPEN LAB day for undergraduate students on February 4~5, 2021.
The project office aims at providing information on a variety of educational and research opportunities for the prospective graduate students.
Predoctoral fellows currently enrolled in the graduate school serve as guides and mentors for the participating undergraduates visiting the open lab event.
The project office aims at introducing (i) the expanded new sustainable energy for Jeju, (ii) research and development of electric vehicle batteries, (iv) the realization of energy research program through microgrids, and (v) global innovative convergence energy/new energy industry professionals education.
For the event, 25 faculty and staff of the college of engineering departments and 49 graduate students are expected to participate in the program supported with an annual grant of 5.3b krw from government agencies, Jeju Energy Corporation, Nambu Electric Station, and the Korean Institute of Production Technology.
