BK21 해양융합사업단, 3~4일 OPEN Lab 개최
BK21 ocean convergence project holds OPEN Lab

Jeju National University BK (Brain Korea)21 Bigdata-Based Ocean Convergence Professional Training Project (Professor Bae Jin Ho, Director) scheduled an OPEN Lab day for the students of the Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science to introduce the BK Project related laboratories and education track program tomorrow (February 3, 2021).

The project office aims at providing information on the education and benefits for the prospective graduate students.

Predoctoral fellows participating in the project serve as guides and mentors for the students on the open day.

Five faculty members of the College of Ocean Science Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science Majors will be on hand during the OPEN Lab event.

Professor Kim Moo Hyun from Texas A&M University is featured to present a untact lecture on the ocean bigdata-based research and to establish the joint research network.

He is widely recognized for his expertise in nonlinear fluid mechanics, non-fluid-mooring relationship and ocean new sustainable energy platform. Professor Kim has over 200 research publications to his credit and is actively involved in international journal editing.
