제주대학교 해양생명과학과, 2025년도 한국수산과학회 국제학술대회서 수상 잇따라

제주대학교 해양생명과학과 소속 J.D.H.E. Jayasinghe 등 20명(지도교수 이제희)은 2025년 5월 7일부터 5월 9일까지 3일간 휘닉스 아일랜드 제주에서 개최된 ‘2025년도 한국수산과학회 국제학술대회‘에서 총 20건의 장려상을 수상하는 성과를 거뒀다.
이번 학술대회는 ‘A 70-Year Journey of Fisheries Science and The Next 100 Years (Leaping Towards the Past, Present, and Future)’를 주제로 한국수산과학회, 국립수산과학원, 한국수산자원공단이 공동 주관했다.
J.D.H.E. Jayasinghe를 포함한 20명의 발표자들은 어류 질병 제어 및 면역학적 기전 연구, 수산 백신 개발, 디지털 육종 연구 등의 주제로 연구 성과를 발표했으며, 이를 통해 수산양식 분야의 학문적 성과를 대내외에 알리는 계기가 됐다.
이들 연구는 수산 질병 예방 및 제어 기술 고도화는 물론, 유전체 기반의 정밀육종 기술 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
